A NIGHT DOWN THE PUB

DATES: JULY 13th, 14th, 15th at 7pm

TICKETS:  If you wish to attend 'A Night Down the Pub' simply email info@firstactworkshops.co.uk to secure your place.  Seating is limited so please get in quick.

Tickets are £5 adults and £4 concessions - and you pay on the door.

While it is ok to turn up on the door, you're at risk of being turned away if the seats are all booked so please do email first if you can.

COMEDY SHOW TICKETS ON SALE!

First Act are shaking up our usual improvisation show OFF THE CUFF this year by adding a few select comedy scenes sure to have our audience rolling in the aisles.

Both Wednesday groups will perform on Weds 24th June 2015 6-8pm
Both Thursday groups will perform on Thurs 25th June 2015 6-8pm
The Friday group will perform on Fri 26th June 2015 6-8pm

Then the two older groups will perform on Saturday 27th June 2015 5-7pm. 
Expect the humour on this final night to be a little more dangerous!

Lorna Wins an Olivier!

Lorna Want - former Birmingham Workshopper who worked with Colin Edwards (and sometimes me) just won an Olivier Award for her role in Beautiful - The Carol King Musical! Well done Lorna!!!!!

Meg survived a Zombie Apocolypse!

Workshopper Megan Oxtoby took part in BBC 3's 'I SURVIVED A ZOMBIE APOCOLYPSE' - and she survived! Well done Meg! 

Ex Birmingham Workshoppers get nominated for BAFTAS

Two original Birmingham TV Workshoppers, Felicity Jones and Kia Pegg (now with the Nottingham Workshop) narrowly missed out on BAFTA's this year.  Nottingham Workshopper Jack O'Connell did win Best Newcomer last night and thanked leader Ian Smith.  Shame that Felicity didn't win as I'm sure she would have thanked the genius of Colin Edwards, former Birmingham TV Workshop leader.
Who will be the next workshopper up for an award?  Maybe First Act's Helen Monks for her main role in 'Raised By Wolves'? Or perhaps Laura Rollins for her role in Doctors?
One thing's for sure - workshoppers are everywhere and achieving great things, on and off screen!
